HNU, Massey University Ink Cooperation Agreement
HNU delegation led by President Cao Yijia visited Massey University (MU), New Zealand on Dec. 7. The two universities entered into a MOU and a Cooperation Agreement on Undergraduate Program, signed by President Cao and President Steve Maharey.
The MOU involves teacher and student exchanges, academic research projects and government scholarships, laying a foundation for further cooperation.
President Steve expected win-win cooperation between the two prominent universities. President Cao invited him to HNU, to propel more cooperative programs through high-level visits.
Massey University, a state-funded leading educational institution in New Zealand, has been awarded five stars for its educational quality by the QS World University Rankings. It is a leader in the subjects of agriculture, accounting, finance, business management, veterinary medicine and pedagogy, ranking among top 50 to 100 in the world.
Massey University has established friendly ties with China. In New Zealand, it is the first university reaching a MOU with China counterpart, and also the first authorized overseas training center approved by China’s State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA). Beyond that, several professors of the university have been rewarded with “Friendship Award” by the SAFEA for their contributions to China.
