Hunan University Wins Contest for Business Practices

Hunan University, based in central China's Hunan province, has won a national contest for business English practice, an event aimed at boosting university students' ability to integrate business theories with practical fieldwork.

The annual event, which is jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and the China Association of International Business English, was held in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province on Nov 27.

With a theme of "Lead the Change", the event required contestants to investigate enterprise undertakings in terms of innovation in the fast changing business environment and present their suggestions to companies to better upgrade their businesses.

Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Guangdong University of Finance and Economics and Sichuan International Studies University followed Hunan University in the final contest.
