8 Videos by Overseas College Students Record Colorful Changsha
Eight videos reflecting Changsha’s characteristics were shown at the studio on the third floor of the School of Journalism and Communications & Film and Television Arts of Hunan University on August 8.
Filmed by eight overseas college students in eleven days, the videos observe and record the vivid Chinese cultural elements in Changsha City. Some of the videos explore happy life and seek for delicacies in Changsha while others target at new things, focus on common life of college students, search for Hunan embroidery?culture, embody poetic culture of Chinese poetry, discover the legend of Hunan puppet show, and show slow pace of city life.
Staying in close proximity with Chinese people and culture, the creators pondered over Chinese culture with a sincere attitude. Their works also provided a new perspective of cultural observation, boasting powerful cultural appeal.
