The event aimed to arouse the enthusiasm of young students around the world for learning Chinese and encourage more overseas contestants in the preliminary stage to experience Chinese culture in China, thus building a bridge of friendship between Chinese and international youth. During the camp, participants will go to Beijing, Hunan’s Changsha, Hubei’s Wuhan and Huanggang for various cultural experiences.
During the ten-day stay in Hunan, Hunan University will arrange a series of activities including a Chinese family life experience, friendship parties and sports competitions for Chinese and overseas students.
He Yuyan from the UK hoped to learn the Chinese language and get an understanding of Chinese history and culture through the event, and then realize her dream of working in a sino-foreign joint venture.
