Gwangju Mayor Employed to be HNU Visiting Professor
Mayor of Gwangju Metropolitan City Janghyun Yoon was offered an appointment to be visiting professor of Hunan University (HUN) and delivered a speech at the appointment ceremony on the morning of Nov. 18. HNU President Zhao Yueyu issued the letter of appointment and school badge to Yoon. Vice President Cao Yijia presented at the ceremony.
Mayor Yoon was devoted into administrative management for years and has gained several national awards for his outstanding management experience. HNU engaged him as a visiting professor of Law School for three years, to promote communication and cooperation with Gwangju, improve the education and broaden students’ international view and acknowledge. Yoon will come to give academic lectures, and also establish internship bases in Gwangju for law and administrative management majors, recruiting 5 to 10 postgraduate students for a collaborative training program.
