Case Western Reserve University Delegation Visits HNU

On September 11th, a delegation headed by Jeff Duerk, Dean of Case School of Engineering of Case Western Reserve University, Daniel M. Ducoff, Associate Vice President of Case Western Reserve University and Associate Dean of Case School of Engineering, and Professor Zhang Guoqiang visited Hunan University.
Dean Jeff Duerk introduced the duel degree postgraduate programs collaborated with HNU, detailing the world ranking and size of Case Western Reserve University, the sixteen Nobel Prize Winners, main majors in Case School of Engineering and the school facilities. Moreover, he encouraged students to focus on practical solutions, interdisciplinary researches and innovative studies.
Professor Zhang Guoqiang introduced five Big Data Research Programs in Case Western Reserve University in detail, including National Sleep Research Resource, Prevention and Risk Identification of SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy) Mortality, Clean Energy, Knowledge Engineering (Ontology) and Data Science.
There after, positive questions from the postgraduates who attended the meeting mainly covered the application, tuition fees, majors and research orientations.
