3 HNU Professors Selected Academicians of CAS & CAE

Prof. Tan Hongwei was elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) while Prof. Chen Zhengqing and Prof. Luo An were elected academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) for 2015, announced by the CAS and CAE on Dec. 7.

Selection as a CAS or CAE academician, as the highest academic title authorized by the state to the scientists in science & technology and engineering, is a lifetime honor.This year, 61 prominent scientists were elected as CAS academicians and 70 as CAE academicians.
